The UEDA Summit is the premier gathering of thought leaders working at the intersection of higher education and economic development. Each year, our Summit convenes professionals from colleges and universities, industry, economic development organizations, government, and research institutions. Together, participants explore strategies to expand regional economic opportunity, strengthen industry partnerships, and activate the assets of higher education for real-world impact.

The 51st annual ASEE Conference for Industry and Education Collaboration (CIEC) is organized by the Engineering Technology Division (ETD), the College Industry Partnership Division (CIPD), the Continuing, Professional, and Online Education Division (CPOED), and the Cooperative and Experiential Education Division (CEED). Since 1976, this conference has served as a platform for workshops, technical sessions, training, and plenary keynote addresses and panels, highlighting the long-standing and mutually beneficial partnerships among education, industry, and government.

ARIS Summit 2027 is returning to where it all began. The inaugural summit was held at the University of Missouri in Columbia in 2013, and organizers are planning a special homecoming. The 2027 Summit will be a three-day facilitated convening focused on building a blueprint for the future of impact.

Hosted in Dallas, Texas, this year’s conference will bring together AURP members and global innovation leaders for executive-level dialogue, high-value networking, and curated learning experiences. From strategic plenaries and collaborative working sessions to behind-the-scenes tours of Pegasus Park and engagement with the region’s thriving life sciences community, the program will highlight how intentional investment, cross-sector partnerships, and research park leadership drive sustainable growth and long-term competitiveness.

Shaping What’s Next in University-Industry Partnerships: The work of building, managing, and advancing these collaborations sits at the center of how research translates into impact, how talent is developed, and how organizations respond to a rapidly changing landscape. UIDP Denver 2026 is not a passive conference. It’s a working environment where practitioners come together to test ideas, share what’s working, and tackle the challenges shaping university-industry partnerships today.

The National Council of University Research Administrators (NCURA) Annual Meeting of the Membership is held annually during the summer. Over 2,000 of NCURA’s 9,000+ members attend. Organizers begin with a full day of workshops and senior level seminars which are a supplemental training program open to all registrants of the annual meeting. This in-depth, targeted training and professional development includes offerings for those new to the profession to the most senior level members.

Lightning Talks promote interdisciplinary dialogue, the exchange of ideas, and opportunities for collaboration. This monthly program provides faculty with a dynamic platform to present brief, focused talks on research questions, teaching innovations, and collaborative projects.

The ARIS Summit is a unique virtual research impact conference and networking event where 1,800+ members come together over three days to build sustainable, scalable capacity that connects science to society. ARIS Summit 2026 theme is Impact by Design, which means talking about your work and its impact. It’s about showing how your quantifiable work is making a difference for the communities you wanted to help.

Annual Grants Training (AGT) is a three-day, in-person event ideal for professionals involved in post-award grants management. It is the largest post-award-focused training event in the nation.
