Lightning Talks promote interdisciplinary dialogue, the exchange of ideas, and opportunities for collaboration. Coordinated by Dr. Seyed Ghiaasiaan, this monthly program provides faculty with a dynamic platform to present brief, focused talks on research questions, teaching innovations, and collaborative projects.

Each session features:

• 3 speakers

• 10-minute presentations

• Focus on a single research question or project

• 5 minutes of discussion per talk

• Max 5 presentation slides

• Monthly rotation between UTPB’s Midland and Odessa campuses
