Champlain Professor Presents on AI To Congress in DC

In September 2024, Brian Hall, a Computer Science professor at Champlain College in Burlington, Vermont, traveled to Capitol Hill to represent the college at a showcase for the Congressional Artificial Intelligence Caucus. The event gathered experts from academia, government, and industry to inform policymakers about AI’s technological, economic, and social impacts. Champlain was among just 14 National Science Foundation (NSF) awardees invited to present, highlighting its role in advocating for diverse institutions in shaping AI policy, education, and workforce development in the U.S. Read more about the Caucus as well as Champlain’s Contributions to AI Policy and Education.
