Hello! My name is Kambiz (pronounced come-bees) Ghazinour! I'm Professor and Chair of Department of CyberSecurity at the State University of New York (SUNY) in Canton. We have two popular programs ofCybersecurity and Data Science (AI).

I am directing the Advanced Information Security and Privacy (AISP) lab. If you are interested to join the lab, feel free to send me an email.

Prior to this position, I was an Assistant Professor at Department of Computer Science at Kent State University from 2015 to 2019. I received my PhD In 2012 in the area of Data Security and Privacy from University of Calgary and was a Post-doc Fellow at the University of Ottawa and Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario from 2012 to 2014.

In 2007, I received my Masters at the University of New Brunswick in the area of High Performance Scientific Computing. In 2003 I received my Bachelors in Software Engineering and from 1998 to 2005, I took on many roles including Software Developer, Systems Analyst and Database Administrator.
